Many types of groups (school field trips, Boy/Girl
Scout outings, Geological Club outings, etc) like to come dig at our mine.
If you have a group of ten or more, there are two options:
Option 1: You can pay $10 each, bags included, dig in the regular tourist digging area, and can stay all day.
Option 2: You can pay $5 each, bags not included, your group gets its own digging area, and you have a maximum of 2 hours to dig.
If you choose to take advantage of Option 1, no reservation is needed. Just show up at our gift shop ready to have fun!
For those of you choosing Option 2, we ask that you make a reservation preferably at least a week in advance by using the form below.
